An Evening of Jazz and Joy: PSL University Choir Visits Dauphine London

Were thrilled to welcome the PSL University Choir as part of their Spring Festival tour.

Staff and students at Université Paris Dauphine – PSL, London campus, were thrilled to welcome the PSL University Choir as part of their Spring Festival tour, which ran from 12 March to 12 April and spanned 15 legendary locations. We were incredibly proud to be one of their chosen venues.

The evening was nothing short of magical, with the exceptional participation of Hugh Coltman—twice awarded Victoires du Jazz (2017 & 2023)—and pianist and conductor Johan Farjot, Director of the PSL Symphonic Orchestra and Choir. Together, they brought a vibrant celebration of jazz and vocal artistry to life in the heart of London.

The choir’s rich and moving performance took the audience on a musical journey through iconic voices such as Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, and David Bowie, infusing our campus with tenderness, joy, and unforgettable melodies.

A heartfelt thank you to the PSL Choir for sharing your extraordinary talent and energy with our community.

We are also deeply grateful to Alice Mesnard, Chair of the Dauphine London Academic Board, Professor of Economics at City St Georges, University of London for organising this fantastic event and to the Crafts Council for generously sharing your beautiful gallery space—it was the perfect setting for an unforgettable night of music and connection.
