It all began in 2014
Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, London campus, has been present in the UK since 2014, initially with a small group of 25 undergraduates students, the "pioneer cohort", enrolled in the Bachelor's in Economics and Management.
We are a boutique institution and our campus reflects our mindset. We know our students by their names and we endeavour to give each and every one of them the individualised attention that they need to succeed in a challenging and ever-changing international business career. We cherish our student experience and we want this very special time in their life to be filled with happy memories and new horizons.
Celebrating a Decade in London: Our Journey Since 2014
2014: A New Beginning In 2014, Université Paris Dauphine - PSL made its debut in the UK with a pioneering group of 25 undergraduate students. This “pioneer cohort” embarked on their journey in our Bachelor’s in Economics and Management programme, marking the start of our London adventure.
2015: A Milestone Partnership In 2015, we established a unique collaboration with University College London (UCL). This partnership allowed our bilingual students to study an additional foreign language at the UCL Centre for Languages and International Education, while also enjoying access to their outstanding facilities.
2017: Expanding Horizons September 2017 saw the introduction of the Bachelor’s third-year major in 'Management' on our campus. This new specialisation enabled students to remain in London to focus on management during their final year, enriching their academic experience in London.
2018: Finance Summer School launch: the first of the suite of summer schools in Finance, was launched offering both UK based and international students a 5-week immersion in London.
Building on the dynamics of teaching and research in artificial intelligence developed at Dauphine, a new "Summer School" on the theme of AI was inaugurated for summer 2024.
2018: New Campus, New Opportunities 2018 was a landmark year as we launched our summer programmes and moved to our stunning new campus at Mayward House, a Grade II listed building situated in the vibrant area of Angel. With its bright indoor spaces, beautiful outdoor areas, and a wonderful roof top terrace, our new home offers an ideal setting close to Central London’s theatres, restaurants, and parks.
2019: Launch of the Start-Up Incubator. We inaugurated our Start-Up Incubator, reflecting our commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. It is primarily aimed at impact projects from different sectors, at the pre-seed or seed stage. The incubated start-ups can benefit from the offer of dedicated offices, workshops, support from Dauphine mentors, and even honorary loans under certain conditions.
2021: International Management Summer Schools: The second of our summer schools, offering studies in International Management, was launched offering both UK and international students a 3-week immersion in London with a mix of classroom sessions, company visits, social and cultural trips.
2022: Official Accreditation. In 2022, the London Campus received accreditation from the Office for Students (OfS) as a Higher Education Provider. This recognition allows us to gain visibility with an English-speaking and international audience. That same year, the British government authorized the application of the work visa system (High Potential Individual) for PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres), of which Dauphine is a component institution. The university if currently the only French institution included alongside a selection of prestigious world leading universities such as Harvard, MIT and Yale.
2023: Summer Schools: Building on the dynamics of teaching and research in artificial intelligence developed at Dauphine, a new "Summer School" on the theme of AI was inaugurated for summer 2024.
2024: Exploring University Life: In 2024, the London campus successfully hosted its first "Pre-Uni Camps", featuring three-day internships for high school students interested in economics and management.
Today and Beyond Now, a decade later, we welcome around 300 students annually into our Bachelor’s in Economics and Management programme, summer programmes, pre-uni camps and Law Track. Our boutique institution, with its personalised approach, continues to support each student individually, ensuring a rich and rewarding experience as they prepare for their international business careers.
In addition to our undergraduate programmes, the London campus offers cutting-edge programs in professional training including the London Executive MBA, Diploma in Quantitative Finance (DiFiQ), Christie 's Masterclass in Art Wealth Management and the Leader-Coach Professional training. Launching at the start of 2025 is the Executive Master’s in Digital Auditing, Advisory and Cybersecurity.
For the start of the 2025 academic year, a new undergraduate programme is being prepared, including a double bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Organizational Sciences.
The campus is supported by an extensive network of over 2,000 Dauphine alumni in London and the UK who are now working the world of finance and entrepreneurship. The Dauphine Alumni UK Chapter has nearly 700 members and organises a wide variety of networking events and meetings each year. A mentoring program allows students on campus to be mentored throughout the year by an Alumni, offering invaluable guidance and support for the next stage of their careers.
We are delighted to celebrate 10 years of growth, excellence, and community in London!
