Visit of the Master 2 Droit des Assurances de Paris Dauphine to London

It was a pleasure to welcome students from the Master 2 Droit des Assurances de Paris Dauphine during their study visit to London this week. The group spent the afternoon on our campus, where they met with staff and students and learned more about academic life and professional opportunities in London.

As part of their visit, Dauphine London hosted a dedicated conference featuring three distinguished guest speakers from the UK insurance sector:

• Richard Eveleigh, British Insurance Law Association
• Raymond Koh, Lloyd’s Market Association
• Dr Caroline Bell, QBE Insurance

The speakers offered valuable insights into the structure of the UK insurance market, current industry challenges, and the importance of cross-border legal and regulatory understanding. The session encouraged lively discussion between students and professionals and highlighted the strong links between the insurance industries in France and the United Kingdom.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of Lloyd’s of London, where students experienced first-hand one of the world’s most iconic insurance markets. The tour provided a unique perspective on the history, culture, and operations at the heart of global insurance.
